National logistics plan kicks off division set up in commerce department


New Delhi: India has started off an ambitious nationwide logistics plan to allow seamless movement of advice and finished goods across the country. Throughout the plan, the government is designed to create the most cost-effective strategy to transport goods till 2035 to provide a competitive edge to the Indian industry.

Within just a first-of-its-kind move, the newly setup logistics section in the commerce section is within talks with strategies providing ministries of railways, roadways, shipping, inland rivers and civil aviation besides the logistics using ministries including food processing, fossil fuel and mines to chalk out the plan.

The logistics division is creating an IT backbone to develop a National Strategies Information Portal, which will end up being an online strategies marketplace was executed to bring together the various stakeholders.
