Yamaha launches TVS Apache, Bajaj Pulsar, MT-15 in India

Yamaha YJF-R15 is a very popular motorcycle in India especially enthusiastic India, Yamaha is now planning to launch the naked version of Yamaha VZF-R15 and it will be known as Yamaha MT-15. Yamaha displayed all the new 2019 MT-15 but did not disclose the specifications of the bike. Yamaha R15 has gained great popularity, Yamaha did not have any product to take Bajaj Pulsar 200 and TVS Apache 200 directly. MT-15 will be launched in 2019.

The Indian market will get 2019 Yamaha MT-15, which is yet to be released in international markets as well. The bike will be based on the recently updated Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 and will offer faster design and style. Most cycle and mechanical parts will be shared between both motorcycles, except for the design and seating position.

All the new, liquid cool 155cc engines that were introduced with the Yamaha YZF-R15 for the first time in the Indian market. It produces the maximum power of 19.3 Bhp and 15 Nm peak torque but we are not sure that the MT-15 will come with the same performance tuning. Due to the absence of fairing, Yamaha can tune the bike to its low weight. The same 6-speed transmission will be available on the bike. Even though it is a 150cc engine, but it is powerful enough to take a 200cc bike in India like Bajaj Pulsar 200NS which produces maximum 23.2 Bhp and 18.1 Nm.
