New Delhi, March 15, 2019 : German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz on Thursday launched its AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupe with price starting at Rs 75 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The new AMG C43Coupe is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine, producing 287kW of power and 520 Nm of torque. The C43 can do a 0-100kmph run in just 4.7 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 250kmph.
Speaking on the launch, Mercedes-Benz India MD & CEO Martin Schwenk said the company has been very successful with its AMG product strategy in India, which comprises a wide array of performance cars under the 43, 45, 63 and the GT ranges.
"The response to the AMG 43 range has been amazing since its debut with the AMG GLE 43, and today we give further fillip to the line-up with the AMG C 43 Coupe," he added.
With the launch of this latest AMG, Mercedes-Benz India now has over 15 AMG performance cars in its portfolio. This is the first time that Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupe is being launched in India.
Regarding features, the AMG C43 Coupe gets multi-beam LED headlights, 19-inch, five-spoke AMG alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof. In its cabin, the AMG also gets sports seats with red seat belts and ambient lighting, along with a full suite of safety features and a 10.25-inch centre mounted infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility
At present, the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe’s only rival is the BMW M2 Competition and Audi RS5.
